Blood Blockade Battlefront es un anime producido por Bones, basado en el manga creado por Yasuhiro Nightow.
Sinopsis
La historia gira en torno a la organización "Libra", la cual combate contra el crimen en la apocalíptica ciudad de Hellsalem's Lot, anteriormente conocida como New York City. Hellsalem's Lot nació cuándo un portal del Inframundo fue abierto, trayendo consigo a varias criaturas de otro mundo llamado El Más Allá. Para evitar que la catástrofe se extendiera varias personas conocidas como Conjuradores levantaron una gran barrera la cual cubrió todo New York evitando así que la catástrofe se extendiera por todo el mundo.

Algo similar ocurrió con el doblaje al portugués brasileño (también producido por Funimation), en dónde se dobló en São Paulo en vez de Río de Janeiro como sus series hermanas. Errores [ ] En el episodio 1, hay una escena sin doblar, donde se deja el diálogo en inglés "I found him".
El adelanto del episodio 2 posee audio desfasado.
La serie tiene subtítulos forzados a modo de inserto, pero estos no son incluidos en los episodios 3 y 4 de la primera temporada.
En el episodio 5, un loop de K.K queda mudo. Sobre la adaptación [ ] Algunas Técnicas Sangrientas son traducidas mientras que otras se dejan en su idioma original o en inglés.
En el episodio 8 de la primera temporada, Zapp dice la grosería "Mierda" cuando trataba de destruir el Zen Thai Dan. Sobre la comercialización [ ] Inicialmente los créditos del doblaje al español solo habían sido incluidos en la versión para el canal brasileño Loading.
